Arista Networks: tecnologia di rete ad alte prestazioni
Arista Networks è stata fondata nel 2004 ed è un produttore statunitense di tecnologie di rete. L'azienda è specializzata nello sviluppo di reti client-to-cloud guidate dai dati per grandi data center, routing e ambienti campus. I prodotti ad alte prestazioni dell'azienda sono progettati per essere a bassa latenza, scalabili e a prova di guasto.
Oltre ai ricetrasmettitori ottici con velocità da 1G a 800G, Arista produce anche switch Layer 3 dotati del sistema operativo proprietario Extensible Operation System (EOS®) basato su Linux, che consente una trasmissione efficiente su reti complesse. Gli switch Layer 3 sono una combinazione di switch e router e combinano i compiti di entrambi in un unico dispositivo.
