Der Ethernet-Switch EX2300 ist eine kompakte, kostengünstige Lösung mit hoher Dichte für kleine Netzwerkumgebungen, bei denen Platz und Leistung eine entscheidende Rolle spielen. Mit einem geringen Platzbedarf von 1 HE eignen sich die Ethernet-Switches EX2300 ideal für Bereitstellungen auf Zugriffsebene in kleinen Zweigstellen, in Einzelhandels- und Arbeitsgruppen-Umgebungen und für konvergenten Netzwerkzugang in größeren Netzwerken. Dieses Modell unterstützt die einzigartige Virtual-Chassis-Technologie von Juniper, dank derer bis zu vier Switches miteinander verbunden und als ein einziges Gerät verwaltet werden können.
