Der HP Smart Array P212 ist der PCI Express (PCIe) Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) RAID-Controller der Einstiegsstufe von HP. Die Low-Profile-Karte halber Bauhöhe verfügt über 8 Anschlüsse und nutzt DDR2-800-Speicher. Der P212 eignet sich ideal für RAID 0/1, 1+0 und kann mit dem 256-MB-BBWC-Modul (Battery-Backed Write Cache) für RAID 5 und 5+0 aufgerüstet werden.
