HP ProCurve MSM313 und MSM323 Access Points umfassen einen komplett ausgestatteten MultiService Mobility Access Point und MultiService Mobility Controller in einer einzigen betriebsbereiten Einheit. Sie dienen zum Erstellen benutzerfreundlicher Internetzugangsdienste (Hotspot öffentlich/Gast). Die Dienstschnittstelle ohne Konfigurationsaufwand lässt sich an die Konfigurationseinstellungen von Client-Geräten anpassen. Vom Bandbreitenmanagement werden mehrere Dienstebenen erstellt, und es gestattet Benutzern einen angemessenen Zugriff auf die Bandbreite. Die Access Points überzeugen durch eine sichere Authentifizierung, Autorisierung und Abrechnung für Benutzer (AAA). Dies gestattet ein breites Spektrum an kostenlosen oder gebührenpflichtigen Dienstmodellen. Sie unterstützen die Anmeldung über HTML und IEEE 802.1X und bieten Schnittstellen für zentrale AAA, ein firmeneigenes Portal und Abrechnungsfunktionen. Dies ermöglicht große Netzwerke mit mehreren Standorten.
