Arista Networks: hoogwaardige netwerktechnologie
Arista Networks werd opgericht in 2004 en is een Amerikaanse fabrikant van netwerktechnologie. Het bedrijf is gespecialiseerd in de ontwikkeling van datagestuurde client-to-cloud netwerken voor grote datacenters, routing en campusomgevingen. De hoogwaardige producten van het bedrijf zijn ontworpen met een lage latentie, schaalbaarheid en betrouwbaarheid.
Naast optische transceivers met snelheden van 1G tot 800G produceert Arista ook Layer 3-switches die zijn uitgerust met zijn eigen Linux-gebaseerde Extensible Operation System (EOS®) besturingssysteem, dat efficiënte transmissie over complexe netwerken mogelijk maakt. Layer 3-switches zijn een combinatie van switches en routers en combineren de taken van beide in één apparaat.
