Die Installation außerhalb des Serverschranks führt dabei zu deutlich verbesserten LTE-Verbindungen.\n\nDer innovative LTE (4G)-Problemlöser\nBeim bintec 4Ge handelt es sich um ein kostengünstiges Erweiterungsgerät mit dessen Hilfe bestehende Router-Infrastrukturen mit LTE (4G) ausgerüstet bzw. nachgerüstet werden können. Dafür wird das Gerät einfach via 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet-Port mit dem Router verbunden. Sämtliche weitere Konfigurationen können daraufhin komfortabel direkt am Router vorgenommen werden. Dank dem Einsatz von Standardprotokollen ist das Gerät kompatibel mit den meisten vorhandenen Routern, auch von Drittanbietern. Die Stromversorgung des Gerätes erfolgt dabei mit Hilfe des beiliegenden Power over Ethernet-Injectors oder eines externen Netzteils. Das Gehäuse hat eine eingebettete Wandhalterung, welche eine schnelle und unkomplizierte Befestigung des Gerätes ermöglicht. Zudem erlaubt die vorbereitete Öffnung für ein Kensington Schloss das Gerät vor unerlaubter Entwendung zu sichern.\n\nEinsatzszenario & Vorteile des bintec 4GE auf einen Blick\nDer Router für das Geschäftsnetzwerk ist häufig im Serverraum untergebracht. Dort ist meist keine Funkabdeckung vorhanden - und falls doch, ist das Funksignal dort nicht stark genug, um Breitbandgeschwindigkeiten in den 4G-Frequenzbändern zu erreichen. Dadurch verschlechtern sich die Übertragungsraten massiv.\nUm dem entgegenzuwirken wird der bintec 4GE an Plätzen außerhalb des Serverraums an der Position mit der besten 4G Abdeckung platziert.
