Die HP StorageWorks Rack-Einbau-Kits stellen eine Rack-Einbaulösung für Bandlaufwerke und auswechselbare RDX-Plattenlaufwerke mit hoher Dichte für SCSI-, USB- oder SAS-Sicherungs- und Archivierungsanwendungen mit direktem Anschluss dar. Das HP StorageWorks 1U Rack-Einbau-Kit unterstützt interne DAT und LTO Ultrium Bandlaufwerke sowie auswechselbare interne RDX-Plattensicherungssysteme. Das 1U Rack-Einbau-Kit ist mit SCSI-, SAS- und USB-Schnittstellen verfügbar. Mit zwei (2) Ultrium 3000 Laufwerken bietet das 1U SAS-Gehäuse eine maximale komprimierte Kapazität von 6 TB mit einer Datenübertragungsrate von bis zu 2 TB/h. Das HP StorageWorks 3U Rack-Einbau-Kit kann zwei (2) interne Bandlaufwerke voller Höhe, vier (4) interne Bandlaufwerke halber Höhe oder eine Kombination aus einem (1) Bandlaufwerk voller Höhe und zwei (2) Bandlaufwerken halber Höhe aufnehmen. Es ist mit SCSI- und SAS-Schnittstellen verfügbar. Mit vier (4) LTO-5 Ultrium 3000 SAS-Laufwerken bietet diese Gehäuselösung eine maximale komprimierte Kapazität von 12 TB.
