They are ideal for environments where multiple devices are centralised and organised in a uniform format.
Area of application and target group	Often favoured by small to medium-sized companies or home office set-ups that want to protect individual workstations, network equipment or smaller servers.	Preferred in larger corporate environments or data centres where multiple devices are organised in a rack. They are ideal for centralised UPS backup of multiple servers or network devices.
Expandability and scalability	Depending on the specific model, some tower units can be expanded to accommodate additional battery modules, but scalability may be more limited compared to rack units.	They typically offer high scalability and are designed to integrate seamlessly into complex data centre environments with multiple rack units.
