Warranty conditions
Your statutory legal guarantee rights
Consumers have statutory legal guarantee rights when purchasing goods. Exercising these statutory rights is free of charge. Our additional voluntary warranty does not restrict your statutory rights in the event of defects.
Information for consumers (B2C)
Legal guarantee
The EU legal guarantee notice shown alongside informs consumers about their main statutory rights in the event of defective goods.
For tangible goods in your order, please refer to the legal guarantee notice shown alongside.
This notice is intended for consumers. For business customers (B2B), the applicable statutory and contractual provisions apply.

Quality control and secure shipping
Our products are carefully inspected before shipping. In addition, we continuously improve our packaging solutions to protect your order as effectively as possible against transport damage.
If a problem nevertheless occurs, please contact our customer service team. You can use our contact form, our service telephone number or our service email address.
In addition to the statutory legal guarantee, IT-Planet provides a voluntary warranty subject to the conditions set out below. Consumers' statutory rights in the event of defects exist independently of this warranty and may be exercised free of charge.

IT-Planet warranty conditions
1. Warranty provider
The warranty provider is:
IT-Planet GmbH
Hansapark 5
39116 Magdeburg

2. Warranty period and territorial scope
The warranty period for new items is two years from the date of purchase. Refurbished items are covered by a three-year warranty from the date of purchase.
The date of purchase is the date on which the purchase contract was bindingly concluded. The warranty applies within the European Union and Switzerland.
The following warranty conditions apply to consumers. For business customers, any warranty coverage is governed exclusively by the terms agreed in the respective purchase contract.
3. Scope of the warranty
During the warranty period, devices that are defective due to material or manufacturing defects will, at our discretion, be repaired or replaced.
Replaced devices or components become our property. Warranty services do not extend the original warranty period and do not start a new warranty period.
4. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage caused in particular by:
- misuse or improper handling
- environmental influences such as moisture, heat, overvoltage or dust
- failure to observe applicable safety precautions
- failure to follow the operating instructions
- physical impact, for example blows, shocks or falls
- unauthorised modifications or repairs
- unauthorised repair attempts
- damage caused by inadequate packaging during transport
5. Making a warranty claim
Warranty claims should be submitted as soon as possible after the defect is discovered and within the applicable warranty period.
Please contact our customer service team by email, telephone or via our contact form. After review, you will receive the necessary return information.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, you will receive a repaired or corresponding replacement device. Return shipping costs will be borne by us in the event of an accepted warranty claim.
The goods must be sent to the return address provided within 14 calendar days after receipt of the return information. If the goods are not returned within this period, the warranty case will be closed. A later return is possible after contacting our customer service team again.
6. Damage not covered by the warranty
Damage or defects that are not, or are no longer, covered by the warranty may be repaired for a fee where possible. Please contact our customer service team for an individual quotation. In this case, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs.
7. Software and licences
Software and licences are excluded from IT-Planet's voluntary warranty.
