In addition to optical transceivers with speeds ranging from 1G to 800G, Arista also manufactures Layer 3 switches equipped with its proprietary Linux-based Extensible Operation System (EOS®) operating system, enabling efficient transmission over complex networks. Layer 3 switches are a combination of switches and routers and combine the tasks of both in one device.
