A key part of the refurbishment process is testing the batteries. If they are less than 18 months old and fully functional, they remain in the device. Older batteries or those that fail the test are replaced with new original batteries. This ensures maximum reliability at all times.
In addition, the devices are identified, repaired, checked and tested at the repair centre. If necessary, they are repainted or minor signs of wear are repaired by the paint shop. The replacement of individual components is also part of the standard process. Finally, the UPSs are placed in standard packaging with the official ‘Refurbished by Schneider’ label – this label stands for traceability, transparency and manufacturer certification.
