Rack servers are specially developed systems designed for installation in standardized server racks. Thanks to their compact design, they enable efficient use of the available space in data centers and company networks. The size of a rack server is specified in height units (HE or U), whereby 1U corresponds to a height of 1.75 inches. As standard, 42U racks offer space for several servers so that IT infrastructures can be flexibly expanded.

High computing power and flexible scaling

Thanks to powerful processors, large RAM and versatile storage options, rack servers are ideal for demanding tasks such as virtualization and cloud computing. Thanks to their modular design, they can be flexibly adapted to growing requirements. They are also designed to ensure high efficiency - both in terms of energy consumption and cooling.
