Der NC522m ist ein IEEE 10GBase-KR 10 Gigabit Ethernet Netzwerkadapter mit zwei Anschlüssen für ProLiant c-Class BladeSystem auf der Basis des NetXen 3031 Controllers. Für Kunden, die weiterhin auf die NetXen Leistung setzen, wird der NC522m auf dem HP Virtual Connect Flex-10 10 Gb Ethernet Modul für BladeSystem c-Class unterstützt, um Flex-10 auf den meisten Proliant Blade-Servern zu aktivieren. Der NC522m unterstützt auch 10-GbE-Verbindungen, wenn er mit dem ProCurve 6120XG oder anderen 10-Gb-Verbindungsmodulen verwendet wird. Der NC522m Adapter wird auf allen ProLiant c-Class Servern in Mezzanine-Steckplätzen des Typs II (x8 PCI Express) unterstützt.
