Die HP LPe1205A ist eine PCI-Express-basierte 8-Gb-FC-Mezzanine-Karte des Typs A, die mit HP ProLiant BladeSystem c-Class Servern kompatibel ist. Sie überzeugt durch höchste Zuverlässigkeit, außerordentliche Performance, erweiterte Sicherheit, NPIV auf Serverseite und skalierbare Verwaltung für Anwendungen für virtuelle Server und Anwendungen der Enterprise-Klasse. Das Design mit zwei Kanälen eignet sich ideal für geschäftskritische Anwendungen, bei denen hochverfügbare Verbindungen unerlässlich sind. Die HP LPe1205A mit Emulex Firmware- und Treiberarchitektur ist für vollständige Treiberkompatibilität mit allen Emulex HBAs konzipiert. Diese Architektur dient zum Aktualisieren der Firmware, ohne den Server offline zu nehmen oder neu zu starten bzw. den Treiber aktualisieren zu müssen. Wie bei allen Emulex LightPulse Fibre Channel HBAs wird die HP LPe1205 über den Emulex OneCommand Manager (OCM) verwaltet. Dies bietet eine sichere, zentrale Administrationskonsole, um Emulex Fibre Channel HBAs auf lokalen und Remote-Hosts zu erkennen und zu verwalten.
