Der HP FlexFabric 650FLB Adapter mit 20 Gbit und 2 Anschlüssen wird im FlexibleLOM-Socket installiert, bevor zusätzliche Mezzanine-Adapter eingebaut werden. Der Adapter bietet Tunnel-Offloading für effiziente Overlay-Netzwerke, um die VM-Migrationsflexibilität und die Netzwerkgröße bei nur minimalen Auswirkungen auf die Leistung zu erhöhen.
Herkömmliche Layer-2-Netzwerke schränken die Mobilität und Größe von virtuellen Workloads und Workloads mit mehreren Mandanten ein. Bei Verbindung mit dem HP 6125XLG Ethernet Blade Switch unterstützt er auch RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), um die Hosteffizienz zu steigern und die Latenz zu senken.
Bei Verbindung mit HP Virtual Connect FlexFabric-20/40 F8 Modulen bietet der FlexFabric 650FLB-Adapter (20 Gbit, 2 Anschlüsse) 20 GbE Leistung, bei Verbindung mit einem HP 6125XLG Ethernet Blade Switch bietet er 10 GbE.
