HPE Solid-State-Laufwerke (SSDs) bieten eine außergewöhnliche Leistung und Lebensdauer für Anwendungen, die eine hohe IOPs-Leistung für zufällige Lese- und Schreibvorgänge benötigen, und sind gleichzeitig sparsam im Verbrauch. Sie können aus den Kategorien Leseintensiv (Read Intensiv, RI), Gemischte Verwendung (Mixed Use, MU) und Schreibintensiv (Write Intensive, WI) das richtige SSD für Ihre Workload-Anforderungen auswählen. Zudem vermeidet das mit Verwaltungstools kompatible HPE SmartSSD Wear Gauge Datenverluste und kann zur Überwachung der SSD-Lebensdauer verwendet werden. Sie nutzen die NAND-Flash-Technologie und unterstützen HPE ProLiant Server einschließlich Gen9 und Serverspeicherplattformen. Da sie als Hot-Plug-fähige SFF- und LFF-Geräte (Small Form Factor bzw. Large Form Factor), als nicht Hot-Plug-fähige SFF-Geräte sowie als SFF Quick Release-Geräte erhältlich sind, ist die Flexibilität bei der Installation entsprechend groß. Diese Laufwerke liefern eine höhere Leistung, bessere Latenz und mehr Energieeffizienz als herkömmliche rotierende Festplatten.
