Der HP Ethernet 571FLR-SFP+-Adapter mit 10 Gbit und 2 Anschlüssen, ein auf dem Performant SFC9020-Controller von Solarflare basierender Flexible-LOM-Adapter wurde genau für dieses Szenario konzipiert. Der Adapter kann die Anwendungslasten der neuesten Multi-Core-Prozessoren verarbeiten und liefert eine unübertroffene Energieeffizienz für die Konsolidierung und Bereitstellung von Servern mit hoher Dichte. Der HP 571FLR-SFP+-Adapter ist jetzt als vollständig unterstützte, ab Werk installierte Option auf den HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8 und HP DL380p Gen8 Servern erhältlich. Er bietet zwei SFP+-Käfige für Verbindungen sowohl mit DACs als auch mit SR-Glasfasermodulen. Der HP 571FLR-SFP+-Adapter unterstützt Hochleistungs-Netzwerkfunktionen wie z. B. VLAN-Tagging, Interrupts mit niedriger Latenz, TCP- und UDP-Prüfsummen-Offloading, MSI-X, NIC-Teaming (Verbund), Receive Side Scaling (RSS), Jumbo Frames und PXE-Boot.
