HP SATA Midline-Laufwerke wurden unter Berücksichtigung wirtschaftlicher Zuverlässigkeit und Leistung für externe Speicher-, Sicherungs- und Archivierungsanwendungen konzipiert. Diese Laufwerke mit hoher Kapazität bieten unseren Kunden den günstigsten Preis pro GB sowie unübertroffene Preisvorteile für nicht geschäftskritische Anwendungen mit Workloads von maximal 40 %. HP SATA-Laufwerke sind in den standardmäßigen Formfaktoren 2,5 Zoll (SFF) und 3,5 Zoll (LFF) erhältlich und werden mit einer einjährigen Standardgarantie (1,0,0) geliefert. Alle HP Laufwerke durchlaufen einen strikten Qualifizierungsprozess, der sicherstellt, dass jedes HP Laufwerk im HP ProLiant Server optimal funktioniert. Vor der endgültigen-Zertifizierung werden alle HP SATA-Festplattenlaufwerke hinsichtlich Kompatibilität und Funktionalität optimiert, z. B. durch Unterstützung für SMART und HP Systems Insight Manager.
