Das c7000 Gehäuse kann bis zu sechs selbstkühlende, hocheffiziente Netzteile mit 2250 W und -48 VDC oder 2400 W / 2650 W AC unterstützen. Das Superdome 2 Gehäuse unterstützt bis zu zwölf selbstkühlende, hocheffiziente Netzteile mit 2250 W und -48 VDC oder 2400 W AC. Die Netzteile für diese Systeme bilden einen gemeinsamen Stromversorgungspool, auf den jedes Blade im Gehäuse zugreifen kann. Dies bietet maximale Flexibilität beim Konfigurieren der Stromversorgung im System, sodass Kunden die benötigte Redundanzstufe auswählen können. Da bei dieser Art der Stromversorgung keine Zonen entstehen, können sowohl N+N- als auch N+1-Modi ausgewählt werden. Damit ist das Gehäuse auch für zukünftige höhere Anforderungen an die Energieversorgung gerüstet. Die Platin-Optionen mit 2400 W und 2650 W bieten den höchsten Wirkungsgrad für Blade-Systeme, der zurzeit branchenweit zu finden ist mehr als 94 % bei optimaler Konfiguration und 89 % mit einer Last von nur 10 %.
