The EX3400 Ethernet switches are a cost-effective solution for today’s most demanding converged data, voice, and video enterprise access networks. These compact 1U fixed-configuration devices offer a level of performance and manageability that was once only available in high-performance access switches.
To connect the switches to upstream devices, four front-panel SFP/SFP+ uplink ports with dual-mode support (GbE/10GbE) and two 40-GbE QSFP+ ports are available.
The EX3400 supports Juniper’s unique Virtual Chassis technology, allowing up to 10 switches to be networked and managed as a single system. The EX3400 can also function as a satellite device in a Juniper Junos Fusion Enterprise deployment, aggregating multiple access switches under a single logical management platform.
