Der WLAN-Access Point WLA632 ist ein Dual-Radio-Access Point mit 3 × 3 MIMO für den Client-Zugang mit höchster Leistung im Außenbereich. Er unterstützt 802.11n für Langstrecken-Bridging- und Mesh-Dienste, damit Wireless-Benutzer ohne Unterbrechung online bleiben können, während sie sich von Gebäude zu Gebäude bewegen.
Er ist einfach zu installieren und zu verwalten und unterstützt alle Arten von Diensten über Wireless-Verbindungen, darunter Daten-, Telefonie-, Video- und standortbezogene Dienste. Er bietet Funktionen der Enterprise-Klasse in einem widerstandsfähigen und wetterbeständigen Gehäuse, das sich auch für raue Außenumgebungen eignet.
Der Access Point WLA632 hat einen eigenständigen 48-V-DC-Anschluss, ist konform mit den Standards NEMA4X und IP67 für Korrosionsbeständigkeit und verfügt über eingebaute Vorrichtungen zum Schutz vor Blitzschlag und Überspannung sowie über ein automatisches Wärmemanagement.
Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) oder SpectraLink Voice Priority (SVP) kann konfiguriert werden, um eine optimale Dienstgüte für Telefonieverkehr zu gewährleisten. Integrierte Richtlinien ermöglichen eine Zuordnung auf der Grundlage von Benutzer, Protokoll oder Class-of-Service (CoS).
Der Access Point WLA632 spielt eine Schlüsselrolle bei Rogue Detection, Intrusion Detection und der Erkennung von Denial-of-Service-Angriffen (DoS). Mit seiner ActiveScan-Funktion überwacht er alle aktiven 802.11-Frequenzbänder, Kanäle und VLANs, während er gleichzeitig mobilen Clients drahtlose Verbindungen ermöglicht. Außerdem kann der Access Point WLA632 mit seiner SentryScan-Funktion als kontinuierlich scannender Wächter fungieren.
