FS108PEU | Der ProSafe 8-Port Switch FS108P kann durch Nutzung der PoE-Technologie (Power over Ethernet) über ein Cat.5-Kabel gleichzeitig Daten und Strom liefern. Jeder der 8 Fast-Ethernet-Ports kann 10/100 MBit/s Datentransfer leisten, vier der Ports können, basierend auf dem Standard IEEE802.3af für Power over Ethernet, zusätzlich eine Versorgungsspannung für Endgeräte bereitstellen. Erweiterte Autosensing-Algorithmen geben Ihnen die Sicherheit, dass nur 802.3af Endgeräte mit Strom versorgt werden, was Beschädigungen an Geräten ohne PoE-Support verhindert. Wenn ein angeschlossenes PoE-Gerät abgehängt wird, wird die Stromzufuhr zum Port automatisch beendet. PoE vereinfacht und optimiert die Netzwerkinstallation, da angeschlossene Endgeräte nicht mehr auf eine in der Nähe liegende Stromsteckdose angewiesen sind. Das ist besonders vorteilhaft für Access Points, Überwachungskameras und ähnliches Equipment, da diese nun immer am optimalen Standort (z. B. unter der Decke) platziert werden können.

Flexibel

Verbinden Sie bis zu 8 Ethernet- oder Fast-Ethernet-Geräte. Bis zu vier der Geräte können durch 802.3af-Support mit Strom versorgt werden, sofern diese ebenfalls PoE unterstützen. Dadurch können diese Geräte überall dort platziert werden, wo sie gebraucht werden. Ob unter der Decke oder wo immer Sie sie benötigen, werden die Geräte über das Cat.5-Kabel gleichzeitig mit Strom und Daten versorgt.

Plug and Play

Der standardbasierende ProSafe FS108P erkennt Netzwerkgeschwindigkeit und Kabeltyp automatisch. Damit lässt er sich einfach in ein vorhandenes 10/100-Ethernet-Netzwerk integrieren. Der Switch erkennt 802.3af-kompatible Geräte und versorgt diese bei Bedarf mit Strom. LEDs auf der Frontseite informieren Sie über Netzwerk- und PoE-Status.

Leise und kompakt

Der Switch hat ein kompaktes, stabiles Metallgehäuse und kann problemlos auf dem Schreibtisch aufgestellt oder mit Hilfe des mitgelieferten Montagekits an der Wand angebracht werden. Durch sein lüfterloses Design ist er sehr leise und lässt sich auch in einer Büroumgebung gut einsetzen.

Praxisgerecht

Durch die Integration von Switch und Power-over-Ethernet-Einspeisung in einem Gerät spart der FS108P Platz, verhindert Kabelsalat und macht die Positionierung von Endgeräten in der Nähe von Steckdosen überflüssig. Dadurch reduziert er Installationskosten, erleichtert die Installation von PoE-fähigen Geräten und erspart die Verlegung von zusätzlichen Kabeln.


Die Limited Lifetime Warranty unterliegt nur folgenden zeitlichen Beschränkungen: Sie wird gewährleistet (i) für den Zeitraum, während dessen der Ersterwerber Eigentümer des ProSafe-Produkts ist, und endet (ii) - aufgrund rechtlicher Vorgaben - spätestens dreißig (30) Jahre ab dem Datum des Kaufs des ProSafe-Produkts durch den Ersterwerber. Die Limited Lifetime Warranty schränkt die aufgrund gesetzlicher Bestimmungen bestehenden Gewährleistungsrechte in keiner Weise ein, sondern besteht unabhängig neben diesen.
