Allied Telesis CentreCOM GS980EM: PoE switches for flexible network connectivity

The Allied Telesis CentreCOM GS980EM Series is suitable for professional network environments such as offices or industrial installations. Depending on the model, Gigabit Ethernet as well as PoE and PoE++ functions are available, allowing compatible end devices such as surveillance cameras, access points or IP phones to receive data and power via the network cable. The GS980EM/10H supports up to 90 watts per port, depending on the port. The GS980EM/11PT also provides PoE pass-through for supplying connected end devices. Features such as EPSRing™ and Active Fiber Monitoring™ support redundancy concepts and the monitoring of fibre connections.

Flexible deployment options and management functions

Depending on the model, several Gigabit PoE ports and additional SFP uplinks are available. Fanless variants enable quiet operation and, depending on the version, can be installed on a DIN rail or in a rack. The AlliedWare Plus™ operating system and AMF Plus provide various functions for configuration, management and automated network tasks. Depending on the model, additional functions for energy management and demand-based operation of network ports are also available.
