Eaton DIT-Lite: Centralized Monitoring and Management of Your IT Infrastructure
Eaton Brightlayer Distributed – Lite is a software solution for the centralized monitoring and management of distributed IT and power infrastructure. The platform enables supported devices such as UPS and PDU systems to be monitored centrally, operating conditions to be evaluated and critical events to be detected at an early stage. Functions for alerting, reporting, device management and IT automation help improve the availability of the IT infrastructure and reduce administrative effort.
Brightlayer Distributed – Lite is designed for environments with up to 50 devices or licenses. For larger infrastructures, Eaton offers Brightlayer Distributed IT as a correspondingly scalable solution.
The previous Eaton Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) was renamed Brightlayer Distributed – Lite on July 1, 2026. Existing IPM customers and customers interested in current software solutions can therefore find information on both Eaton IPM and the new DIT-Lite licenses from us.
Eaton DIT-Lite or Eaton IPM?
• Eaton Brightlayer Distributed – Lite continues the previous IPM product portfolio within the Brightlayer platform.
• If you are already using Eaton Intelligent Power Manager, existing IPM solutions may still be relevant. For new projects and current software licenses, Brightlayer Distributed – Lite is the primary solution.
• DIT-Lite combines centralized monitoring, alerting, reporting, device management and IT automation for distributed IT infrastructures.

Who is Eaton DIT-Lite suitable for?
• DIT-Lite is suitable for small and medium-sized distributed IT environments with up to 50 devices to be monitored.
• The solution is particularly suitable for companies that want to centrally monitor and manage UPS systems, PDUs and other supported infrastructure devices.
• Alerts and automated responses help detect critical events at an early stage and manage IT processes more efficiently.
• For larger or more complex environments, Eaton offers Brightlayer Distributed IT as a more comprehensive solution.

DIT-Lite Subscription License
Flexible term of 1, 3 or 5 yearsWith the subscription license, you acquire the right to use Eaton Brightlayer DIT-Lite for a defined period. Software updates and upgrades are included throughout the entire subscription term.

- Can be extended by an additional 1, 3 or 5 years during the subscription term

DIT-Lite Perpetual License
Permanent use including 5 years of maintenanceWith the perpetual license, you acquire a permanent right to use Eaton Brightlayer DIT-Lite. Updates and upgrades are covered by the included maintenance for five years.
