Das ALLNET ALL4780-2Wire-SFP-Set ist ein integriertes SFP Bridge Modem, ein MSA konformes Kleinform Faktor steckbares Modul, welches es ermöglicht, traditionelle Ethernet Switches, Media Konverter und andere Netzwerk Geräte weiter als die Standard Ethernet Länge von 100m zu verbinden. Ausgestattet mit der aktuellsten VDSL2 Technologie kann dieses SFP Modem einfach mit existierenden Applikationen via 2-Draht Kabel verbunden werden, wie zum Beispiel dem Telefonkabel, um Kosten für eine neue Verkabelung zu sparen. Es kann die Verbindung extrem erweitern: Bis zu 3000 Meter sind insgesamt möglich, bei 400 Metern Länge liegt die Geschwindigkeit bei 100Mbps bei einem Standard CAT5e 2-Draht Kabel. \n\nDas SFP Modem ist auch mti flexiblen Profil Einstellungen entworfen worden, um die Nutzung für jede spezielle Applikations- und Umgebungsanforderungen zu erfüllen. Symmetrische Profile können auf Standard Ethernet Verbindungen angewendet werden, während asymmetrische Profile für andere Services, wie Video Streaming oder Überwachung genutzt werden, welche hohen Traffi in einer uni-direktionalen Konfiguration erfordern.
