Der bintec W2003ac ist ein Access Point, der den neuen Funkstandard nach 802.11ac unterstützt. Durch die zwei Funkmodule ist ein gleichzeitiger Betrieb im 2,4-GHz- und im 5-GHz-Band möglich. Das bintec Client Management sorgt dafür, dass der WLAN-Client immer mit maximaler Performance arbeiten kann. Das Client Management beinhaltet zahlreiche Funktionen und sorgt auch dafür, dass der Client immer mit dem leistungsstärksten Access Point verbunden ist.\n\nDie MIMO2x2-Technik erlaubt bei 802.11ac-Betrieb eine maximale Bruttorate von 867 Mbit/s. Die MIMO2x2-Technik mit zwei Sendestreams hat den großen Vorteil, dass das Gerät mit weit verbreiteter und sehr preiswerter PoE-Infrastruktur (<,12,4 Watt) auskommt. Darüber hinaus ist die MIMO2x2-Technik ideal an die heutigen Smartphones und Tablet PCs angepasst, die 802.11ac oft nur mit MIMO1x1 unterstützen. Access Points mit der teureren MIMO3x3- oder MIMO4x4-Technik können bei diesen Endgeräten Ihre Leistungsfähigkeit nicht voll ausspielen, daher ist ein Access Point mit 11.ac-Standard und MIMO2x2 die optimalere und vor allem wirtschaftlichere Lösung.\n\nDer bintec W2003ac hat ein unauffälliges Gehäuse mit internen Antennen und abschaltbaren LED. Die im Lieferumfang enthaltene Wand- und Deckenhalterung erlaubt eine leichte Montage.\n\nDas Gerät ist managebar und kann sowohl mit dem Cloud NetManager als auch mit einem lokal installierten bintec WLAN Controller gemanagt werden. Mit der kostenlosen WLAN Controller Lizenz und der Master-AP-Konfiguration haben Sie die Möglichkeit kleine WLAN-Netze mit bis zu 6 Access Points zu verwalten. Darüber hinaus können Sie natürlich den W2003ac auch als Stand-alone AP manuell konfigurieren.
