Die Cisco Inter-Switch Link (ISL)-Protokoll ermöglicht die Kommunikation mit VLAN-Verkehr Catalyst 5000, 5500 und Catalyst 3000-Serie schaltet.\n\n- Der Cisco 3600 können inter-VLAN-Routing zwischen VLANs Dienstleistungen auf jedem Catalyst-Serie-Switch, unterstützt VLANs bieten. Das Modul bietet die künftige Unterstützung der neuen 802.1Q VLAN-Standard.
