Darüber hinaus werden Power-over-Ethernet Endgeräte, wie WLAN Access Points, Kameras und VoIP-Telefone, mit Strom und Daten gleichzeitig versorgt. Der DES-1008P arbeitet mit allen zum Industriestandard IEEE 802.3af PoE kompatiblen Geräten und liefert über ein gewöhnliches Kat. 5 Netzwerkkabel bis zu 15,4W pro Port.\n\nMit Power-over-Ethernet können Sie Ihre Endgeräte überall flexibel positionieren. Verzichten Sie ab jetzt auf Steckdosen bei den Endgeräten und sparen Sie dadurch zusätzliche Kosten für die Verlegung von Stromanschlüssen. Diese kombinierte Verbindung kann bis zu 100 m lang sein.\n\nPlug & Play Installation\nBei diesem unmanaged Switch sind keine komplizierten Einstellungen erforderlich. Die Installation erfolgt schnell und einfach durch Plug & Play innerhalb weniger Minuten. Die lüfterlose Bauform des Desktop Switches ermöglicht die Positionierung direkt am Arbeitsplatz ohne störende Hintergrundgeräusche. Auch die Überwachung ist komfortabel: Die LED Anzeigen an der Vorderseite des Switches lassen den aktuellen Status aller angeschlossenen Endgeräte erkennen.\n\nDer DES-1008P erkennt automatisch die Übertragungsrate der angeschlossenen Rechner sowie alle PoE-fähigen Endgeräte. Darüber hinaus unterscheidet der Switch automatisch zwischen Full- und Half-Duplex-Betrieb und unterstützt Flow Control gemäß IEEE 802.3x.
