DMC-1000 | Dieses Chassis bietet Ihnen bis zu 16 freie Slots, die wahlweise mit verschiedensten DMC-Mediakonvertern bestückt werden können.

Jeder vorhandene Twisted-Pair Switch-Port kann separat über ein Konvertermodul umgewandelt werden. Innerhalb des Chassis besteht keine Verbindung zwischen den Konvertern zueinander und so geht keine Bandbreite verloren. Diese Modularität bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, Ihr Netzwerk flexibel an neue Gegebenheiten anzupassen, so können Sie mit nur einem Konverter starten und bei wachsendem Bedarf die Slots weiter bestücken. Die Installation der Konverter in den DMC-1000 ist besonders einfach, sie werden einfach in einen freien Slot eingeschoben, dies kann auch im laufenden Betrieb erfolgen.

Durch das optional verfügbare Managementmodul (DMC-1002) können alle Konverter in diesem Chassis zusammen über einen PC verwaltet und überprüft werden. Das lästige Kabelgewirr ausgehend von verschiedenen Geräten, die über einen Konverter an verschiedene Kabelmedien angepasst werden müssen verschwindet. Alle Kabel treffen im DMC-1000, der in ein 19-Zoll-Rack eingebaut werden kann, organisiert aufeinander.

Das Gerät bietet ein optionales redundantes Netzteil (Power Supply); bei Ausfall der Stromversorgung schaltet sich dieses automatisch ein und sichert so die Stabilität Ihres Netzwerkes.

Das Chassis bietet Platz für alle Fast Ethernet und Gigabit Ethernet Konverter.
