Der QLogic QMH2462 4 Gb FC HBA Adapter stellt dem c-Class BladeSystem zwei 4 Gb Fibre Channel Anschlüsse für schnelle und zuverlässige SAN-Konnektivität bereit. Durch die Implementierung eines SAN mit dem HP BladeSystem profitieren Kunden von höherer Datenverfügbarkeit sowie einfacher Skalierungskapazität und können durch Konsolidierung von Festplattenressourcen Verwaltungskosten einsparen. Fibre Channel Funktionalität wird durch Verwendung eines QLogic FC Mezzanine HBA erreicht, der eigens für das HP c-Class BladeSystem entwickelt wurde.
