Der x4 PCI Express NC326m Adapter wird auf allen ProLiant c-Class Servern in jedem Mezzanine-Steckplatz unterstützt. Mehrere Adapter können pro Server installiert werden. Der NC326m ist für Anwendungen konzipiert, bei denen die vom Server bereitgestellten Gigabit Ethernet Anschlüsse nicht ausreichen. Er eignet sich ideal für Virtualisierung, Sicherheit, Serverkonsolidierung, Netzwerksegmentierung und andere BladeSystem Anwendungen, die eine zusätzliche Netzwerkanschlussdichte und Bandbreite erfordern. Der NC326m wurde erfolgreich auf die Einhaltung von strengen BladeSystem Standards getestet und wird mit den erweiterten Serverfunktionen geliefert, die ProLiant Kunden zu Recht erwarten, z. B. Unterstützung für Failover und Lastausgleich, TCP/IP Checksum Offloading, Large Send Offloading, Wake-on-LAN, PXE, Jumbo Frames, VLAN-Tagging und vieles mehr.
