Für ProLiant ist der NC364m die zweite Adapteroption für c-Class mit vier Anschlüssen, die ProLiant Kunden die Auswahl zwischen einen Adapter mit Intel Controller und einem Adapter mit Broadcom Controller ermöglicht., Der NC364m eignet sich ideal für Virtualisierung, Sicherheit, Serverkonsolidierung, Netzwerksegmentierung und andere Serveranwendungen, die maximalen Durchsatz und hohe Anschlussdichte erfordern. Der gesamte aggregierte Durchsatz von 4 Gb/s entspricht auch den Anforderungen von Kunden, die eine hohe Bandbreite wünschen, jedoch noch nicht auf 10-Gb-Ethernet migrieren möchten.
