Der HP 530M ist ein 10 GbE Adapter mit zwei Anschlüssen. Er basiert auf der 1-Chip 10 Gb Ethernet-Lösung der nächsten Generation von Broadcom in einem Mezzanine-Formfaktor, der für HP BladeSystem c-Class Gen8 Server entwickelt wurde. Mithilfe der markterprobten Broadcom-Architektur und -Software kann der HP 530M FlexLOM Adapter die Leitungsgeschwindigkeit über alle Ports voll ausschöpfen und weist dabei einen niedrigen Stromverbrauch auf. Der HP 530M ermöglichen Ethernet-Verbindungen mit hoher Leistung. Er nutzt die HP Virtual Connect Flex-10 Verbindungstechnologie, sodass nicht nur der Server, sondern auch die restliche Infrastruktur von den Vorteilen der Virtualisierung profitiert. Der HP 530M unterstützt auf Unternehmen zugeschnittene Funktionen wie VLAN-Tagging, adaptive Interruptzusammenführung, MSI-X, NIC-Teaming (Bonding), Receive Side Scaling (RSS), Jumbo Frames, PXE-Boot und Virtualisierungsfunktionen wie VMware NetQueue und Microsoft VMQ. Durch die Unterstützung für die HP Sea of Sensors Technologie wird die Serverleistung verbessert, während gleichzeitig Stromverbrauch und Stromkosten sinken.
