Der ProLiant BL620c G7 unterstützt Intel Xeon E7-2800- und E7-8867L-Prozessoren. Es werden bis zu zwei leistungsstarke Prozessoren mit jeweils 130 Watt unterstützt mit 32 RDIMM-Steckplätzen für 1,0 TB Arbeitsspeicher. Die vier integrierten FlexFabric CNA-Anschlüsse mit 10 Gbit unterstützen standardmäßige Ethernet-Anschlüsse und erweiterte Netzwerkfunktionen. Die drei PCIe-Erweiterungsanschlüsse der 2.
