Sie basieren auf der Mellanox ConnectX-3-Technologie der nächsten Generation und PCI Express 3.0 und bieten hervorragende Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten sowie flexible Strukturen. Die neuen Mezzanine-Kanal-Hostadapter (HCA) mit zwei Anschlüssen für c-Class Server-Blades eignen sich ideal für Scale-out-Lösungen. Beide Adapter zeichnen sich durch eine InfiniBand-Bandbreite mit kurzer Latenzzeit und einer Fourteen Data Rate (FDR) mit bis zu 56 Gbit/s oder einer Quad Data Rate (QDR) von bis zu 40 Gbit/s aus. Sie eignen sich für leistungsorientierte Server- und Speicher-Clusteranwendungen im Bereich High Performance Computing (HPC) und in unternehmensweiten Rechenzentren. Die Adapter können auch als Ethernet-Adapter mit 10 oder 40 Gbit/s verwendet werden. Durchgängige Servicequalität (QoS) ermöglicht Partitionierung und garantierte Serviceleistung, während die hardwarebasierte Überlastungssteuerung verhindert, dass einzelne Hot Spots den Gesamtdurchsatz beeinträchtigen.
