HPE Server SATA-Festplattenlaufwerke sind auf Zuverlässigkeit und den größeren Kapazitätsbedarf moderner, nicht geschäftskritischer Serveranwendungen und Speicherumgebungen ausgelegt. Diese Laufwerke mit hoher Kapazität bieten den günstigsten Preis pro GB sowie unübertroffene Preisvorteile für nicht geschäftskritische Anwendungen mit Workloads von maximal 40 %. HPE Server SATA-Festplattenlaufwerke sind sowohl als 3,5 Zoll LFF- (Large Form Factor) als auch als 2,5 Zoll SFF-Laufwerke (Small Form Factor) verfügbar und werden mit einer Standardgarantie von einem Jahr ausgeliefert. Alle Hewlett Packard Enterprise Festplattenlaufwerke durchlaufen einen strikten Qualifizierungsprozess, der sicherstellt, dass jedes Laufwerk in Ihren HPE ProLiant Serverumgebungen funktioniert. Vor der endgültigen Zertifizierung werden alle HPE Server SATA-Festplattenlaufwerke hinsichtlich Kompatibilität und Funktionalität optimiert, z. B. durch Unterstützung für SMART und HPE Systems Insight Manager.
