HPE Server Solid State-Laufwerke (SSDs) für gemischte Verwendung (Mixed Use, MU) bieten eine außergewöhnliche Leistung und Belastbarkeit für Anwendungen, die eine hohe IOPS-Leistung für zufällige Lese- und Schreibvorgänge benötigen, und sind gleichzeitig sparsam im Verbrauch. HPE MU SSDs bieten Anwendungen mit der höchsten Leistung, die eine Kombination aus starken Lese- und Schreibfunktionen benötigen und in der Regel über eine Belastbarkeit zwischen <1 und <10 DWPD (Drive Writes per Day) verfügen. Die HPE SSDs wurden mehr als 2,4 Millionen Stunden dem strengsten Test- und Qualifikationsprogramm der Branche unterzogen und stellen so zuverlässige, leistungsfähige Laufwerke für die Kunden dar. Die durch HPE integrierte Firmware schützt Daten vor böswilligen Angriffen, die sie ändern oder zerstören könnten. Durch die selbsterklärenden Symbole auf dem HPE SMART Carrier ist der Laufwerkstatus kein Ratespiel mehr. Die Schaltfläche „Nicht entfernen" verhindert Datenverluste durch Benutzerfehler. Das mit Verwaltungstools kompatible HPE SmartSSD Wear Gauge kann zur Überwachung der SSD-Lebensdauer verwendet werden.
