Der HPE QSFP28 Transceiver mit 100 Gbit ist darauf ausgelegt, dem wachsenden Bedarf nach mehr Bandbreite im Rechenzentrum nachzukommen. Die Leistung von 100 Gbit ermöglicht eine Reduzierung der Anschlussdichte und der Hardwarekomponenten bei gleichzeitiger Geschwindigkeitssteigerung. Durch die niedrigeren Kosten pro Bit kann der HPE 100 Gbit QSFP28 Transceiver die Investitions- und Betriebskosten für Interconnect-Verbindungen erheblich senken. Bei Anschluss eines Glasfaserkabels über einen standardmäßigen MPO-Anschluss kann mittels Multimode-Glasfaser eine Verbindung über bis zu 100 Meter erstellt werden.\n\nFunktionen\n\n- Der HPE QSFP28 MPO SR4-Transceiver (100 m) mit 100 Gbit verfügt über vier optische Lanes in jede Richtung, sodass jede einzelne mit 25 Gbit betrieben werden kann.\n- MPO-Anschluss für Multimode-Glasfaserkabel.\n- Verbindungen mit einer Reichweite von maximal 70 m über OM3- und 100 m über OM4-Multimode-Glasfaserkabel mit 100 Gbit/s.\n- Bitfehlerrate (Bit-Error Rate, BER) von unter 10-15.\n- 3,3 V Netzteil.
