Die HP Rack-Einbau-Kits stellen eine Rack-Einbaulösung mit hoher Dichte für Bandlaufwerke und auswechselbare RDX-Plattenlaufwerke für SCSI-, USB- oder SAS-Sicherungs- und Archivierungsanwendungen mit direktem Anschluss dar. Das HP 1U-Rack-Einbau-Kit unterstützt interne DAT- und LTO Ultrium-Bandlaufwerke sowie interne für Sicherungen konzipierte RDX-Wechseldatenträgersysteme. Das 1U-Rack-Einbau-Kit ist mit SCSI-, SAS- und USB-Schnittstellen verfügbar. Mit zwei LTO-6 Ultrium 6250 Laufwerken bietet das 1U-SAS-Gehäuse eine maximale komprimierte Kapazität von 12,5 TB mit einer Datenübertragungsrate von bis zu 2,8 TB/h. Das HP 3U-Rack-Einbau-Kit kann zwei (2) interne Bandlaufwerke mit Standardhöhe, vier (4) interne halbhohe Bandlaufwerke oder eine Kombination aus einem (1) Bandlaufwerk mit Standardhöhe und zwei (2) halbhohen Bandlaufwerken aufnehmen. Es ist mit SCSI- und SAS-Schnittstellen verfügbar. Mit vier LTO-6 Ultrium 6250 SAS-Laufwerken bietet dieses Gehäuse eine maximale Kapazität von 25 TB (komprimiert).
