HP Tower Unterbrechungsfreie Stromsysteme (UPS) bieten besseren Schutz für die Stromversorgung und schützen ebenfalls Ihre IT-Komponenten und kritischen Daten vor Schäden durch eine nicht kontinuierliche Stromversorgung oder Spannungsschwankungen. Diese Systeme wurden für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen entwickelt und ermöglichen eine Senkung der für den Schutz der Stromversorgung aufzubringenden Kosten, indem sämtliche Komponenten geschützt werden. Zu den Hauptvorteilen zählen: erhöhte Belastbarkeit, intuitives Display an der Vorderseite, Enhanced Battery Management (EBM), priorisiertes Herunterfahren, Hot-Swap-fähiger Akku, Network Transient Protection, ein serieller Anschluss sowie USB-Anschlüsse für Datenaustausch mit dem Host-Computer. Die Software HP Power Manager (im Lieferumfang für HP UPS enthalten) verhilft zu flexiblerer Überwachung des Stromversorgungsstatus und zur Steuerung (lokal oder remote) des HP UPS.
