Die neue intelligente Stromverteilereinheit (iPDU) von HP ermöglicht die hochmoderne Verwaltung und Steuerung von in Racks eingebauten Stromverteilereinheiten (PDUs), damit Erweiterungen im Rechenzentrum nicht durch eine zu hohe Stromzufuhr verhindert werden. Unter Verwendung der Core-and-Stick-Architektur der modularen HP PDUs sorgt die HP iPDU für eine unvergleichlich präzise Überwachung des Stromverbrauchs der zentralen Einheit, der Erweiterungseinheiten und der Steckdosen. Über die integrierte Remoteverwaltung ist es sogar möglich, einzelne Steckdosen an den intelligenten Erweiterungsleisten ein- und auszuschalten. Bei den HP Power Discovery Services mit Intelligent Power Discovery handelt es sich um eine Kombination aus HP iPDUs, HP Platinum-Netzteilen und HP Insight Control Software zur Steuerung und Automatisierung der Stromverteilung. Bei der Bereitstellung neuer HP ProLiant Server erkennt HP Intelligent Power Discovery diese Server automatisch, ordnet sie der Stromquelle zu, überprüft die redundante Stromversorgung und stellt sicher, dass alles richtig angeschlossen ist.

Die HP Power Discovery Services mit Intelligent Power Discovery können Server automatisch erkennen und bestimmten Steckdosen zuordnen, sodass die erfassten Stromversorgungsdaten äußerst genau sind.

Die Montage erfordert 1 oder 0 U, sodass wertvoller Rackplatz gespart wird. Die flexible Montage der Erweiterungsleisten vereinfacht die Kabelführung.
