Der AP-103H lässt sich in Minutenschnelle mit einer Daten- oder Netzwanddose verbinden. Über das bestehende, strukturierte Kabelsystem wird der sichere WLAN- oder kabelgebundene Netzwerkzugriff in Wohnheimen, Klassenzimmern, Hotels, Krankenhäusern und mandantenfähigen Umgebungen realisiert.

Der kompakte, kostengünstige AP-103H bietet drahtlose Datenübertragungsraten bis 300 Mbit/s per 802.11n-Technologie mit zwei räumlichen MIMO-Datenströmen. Dieser 2×2:2-AP ist mit dediziertem 2,4-GHz- und 5-GHz-Funkband sowie mit integrierten omnidirektionalen Antennen ausgestattet.

Für Kabelverbindungen bietet der AP-103H zwei sichere Downlink-Switch-Anschlüsse, einen passiven Pass-Through-Anschluss (RJ-45) sowie einen 10/100/1000BASE-T-Uplink-Anschluss. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt wahlweise mit einer 802.3af-PoE-Quelle (Power-over-Ethernet) am Uplink-Netzwerkanschluss oder mit einer 12-Volt-DC-Stromversorgung.
