Die neuen 6 Gbit SAS-Gehäuse LFF (Large Form Factor) D2600 mit 12 Laufwerkeinschüben und SFF (Small Form Factor) D2700 mit 25 Laufwerkeinschüben bieten modulare Lösungen, um die Kapazität von HP ProLiant-Serverumgebungen und MSA Arrays (nur SFF) mit externem Speicher zu erweitern, ohne das gesamte System auf SAN (Storage Area Network) oder NAS (Network Attached Storage) umstellen zu müssen. Dies bedeutet, dass Sie heute nur die tatsächlich benötigte Speicherkapazität kaufen und diese dann bei zunehmendem Speicherbedarf erweitern können.
