Die dreiphasige HP DirectFlow USV (unterbrechungsfreie Stromversorgung) ist eine modulare und skalierbare USV, die eine Backup-Stromversorgungslösung mit hoher Dichte für HP Server und Storage bereitstellt. Sie verfügt über eine separate Stromverwaltungseinheit, welche die wichtigsten Elemente einer USV Ladegerät, Wechselrichter und aktiver Filter in einer einzelnen, kompakten Einheit integriert. Diese ist wesentlich kleiner und kostengünstiger als eine herkömmliche USV. Der Ausgangsleistungsbereich der dreiphasigen DirectFlow USV reicht von 12 kVA bei 2U bis hin zu 19,9 kVA bei 5U. Die dreiphasige HP DirectFlow USV-Technologie bietet eine äußerst effiziente Backup-Stromversorgungslösung, mit der die AC/DC-Wandlung am aktiven Front-End entfällt und eine Leistungseffizienz von über 99 % erzielt wird. Sie integriert außerdem die ACC-Technologie (Active Current Correction), bei der der Leistungsfaktor unter Niedriglastbedingungen stärker der Eins angenähert werden kann und so die Stromkosten für das Rechenzentrum gesenkt werden.
