Die ultraschnellen 802.11ac-APs der 220 Series bieten höchste Leistung in Umgebungen mit hoher Dichte und können über einen Mobility Controller verwaltet oder ohne Controller im Aruba Instant Modus bereitgestellt werden.

Mit 1,3 Gbit/s im 5-GHz-Band und 600 Mbit/s im 2,4-GHz-Band sind diese APs mit drei Datenströmen bis zu drei Mal schneller als 802.11n-APs.

Die Modelle AP-215 und IAP-215 verfügen über sechs integrierte omnidirektionale Downtilt-Antennen, während die Modelle AP-214 und IAP-214 drei RP-SMA-Stecker für externe Dual-Band-Antennen aufweisen.
