Der HP ProCurve M110 Access Point ist ein einziges IEEE 802.11a/b/g Funkgerät für Einsteiger, das sich für den Betrieb als Access Point, WDS-Bridge (Wireless Distribution System) oder Vollspektrum IEEE 802.11 WLAN-Monitor (Wireless LAN) konfigurieren lässt. Der ProCurve M110 Access Point unterstützt bis zu zwei Virtual Service Communities, jeweils mit VLAN und Wireless-Sicherheitsprofilen, die voneinander unabhängig sind. Er ist Plenum-zertifiziert und wird über IEEE 802.3af-kompatibles Power over Ethernet (PoE) gesteuert. Der M110 Access Point ist Wi-Fi-zertifiziert für WPA2-, WPA- und WEP-Sicherheit und ist mit hardwaregestützter AES- und RC4-Verschlüsselung ausgestattet.
