Das HP Mobility Security IDS/IPS System umfasst HP RF Manager und MSM415-Sensoren. Der HP RF Manager ermöglicht zusammen mit dem MSM415-Sensor die Erkennung und Abwehr von Sicherheitsrisiken bei Wireless-Übertragungen durch automatisierte, richtlinienbasierte Sicherheits- und Standortüberwachungsfunktionen mit umfassender Unterstützung aller IEEE 802.11 WLAN-Netzwerke. Fehlalarme werden vom System herausgefiltert und patentierte, automatische Klassifizierungs- und Eingrenzungsmethoden blockieren nicht autorisierte Wireless-Übertragungen, ohne dass dabei die Leistungsfähigkeit autorisierter Wireless-Geräte beeinträchtigt wird. Der HP MSM415 RF Security Sensor muss IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n-Netzwerke kontinuierlich nach Sicherheitsrisiken bei Wireless-Übertragungen durchsuchen und entsprechende Gegenmaßnahmen durchsetzen. Das HP Mobility Security IDS/IPS System bietet branchenweit führenden Schutz von Wireless-Übertragungen und wehrt zugleich mehrere Sicherheitsrisiken ab, während gleichzeitig nach neuen Risiken gesucht wird. Zudem kann es zur Umsetzung einer No WiFi-Strategie eingesetzt werden. Es sind vordefinierte Compliance-Berichte für HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), PCI, den Sarbanes-Oxley Act, den Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act und die DoD Directive 1800.2 (US-Verteidigungsministerium) verfügbar.
