Das HP 640 Regal für externe/redundante Stromversorgung wird mit den Switches der Serie HP 2920 verwendet, um diese Geräte redundant und/oder extern mit Strom zu versorgen und um eine zusätzliche Stromversorgung für PoE+-Anwendungen bereitzustellen, wenn dies erforderlich ist. Einheit kann sofort mit mindestens einem optionalen Netzteil und -kabel bestückt werden (separat zu erwerben).

\n Drei modulare Netzteilsteckplätze: Unterstützen die redundante Stromversorgung für bis zu acht HP 2920 Switches: Schützen vor Ausfällen des internen Switch-Netzteils. Unterstützen die externe Stromversorgung, sodass bis zu drei HP 2920 PoE+-Switches mit 48 Anschlüssen bis zu 1440 W PoE+ bereitstellen können: Alle 48 Anschlüsse eines PoE+-Switches liefern gleichzeitig 30 W PoE+.
