HP 4500G Switches unterstützen Sicherheits- und Verwaltungsfunktionen und bis zu vier optionale Hochgeschwindigkeitsverbindungen mit 10GbE als Grundlage für ein zentrales Netzwerk oder hochleistungsfähige Server. Einige Modelle bieten außerdem Unterstützung für PoE.
