Das neue Rack-Einbaukit für HP Z600 und Z800 Workstations wurde so konzipiert, dass es die besten Eigenschaften des alten Rack-Kits für HP xw6x00 und xw8x00 Workstations übernommen und in das neue Rack-Kit integriert hat. Die neue HP Z800 Workstation wurde mit dem Rack-Einbau als Ziel konzipiert, sodass das Gehäuse genau in der richtigen Größe entwickelt wurde und über die notwendigen Montagevorrichtungen verfügt.

Verwendet eine kugelgelagerte Erweiterungsschiene mit drei Segmenten, durch die das Hinzufügen von weiterem Speicher, weiteren Festplatten, optischen Laufwerken, optionalen Karten usw. ohne Herausnahme des Computers aus dem Rack unkompliziert möglich ist.

\n Die Schienen rasten ganz ohne Werkzeug in das HP-Rack ein (zum Anbringen der inneren Schiene und der Montageflansche am Computergehäuse werden Schrauben benötigt).
